Free community

Self-hosting is
better together.

The tools are free. The guides are free. The community is free too. We built it because doing this alone is hard, and asking questions in a Discord full of developers is intimidating.

01

What you get

No course. No gated content. No upsell sequence. Here's the entire thing.

Real help, not Stack Overflow

Ask setup questions in plain English. Get answers from people who've done the exact install you're doing. No RTFM, no condescension.

Weekly tool drops

Every week we add a new tool guide and send a one-line announcement. No newsletter sequence. No upsell. Unsubscribe in one click.

Request a tool

Want a self-hosted alternative to a specific SaaS? Request it. If enough people want it, we build the guide.

Show your stack

Share what you're running. Get feedback. See what other founders self-host. Steal good ideas.

02

Join

One form. No credit card. No email sequence. You get the community link and the weekly tool announcement. That's it.

03

The rules

Simple. Enforced. Keeps the place useful.

Community rules

  1. Be specific. "It doesn't work" is not a question. Share your error message, your OS, and the step you're on.
  2. No selling. No affiliate links, no tool promotions, no "DM me." This is a place for help, not leads.
  3. Help if you can. If you've done a setup someone is struggling with, share what worked.
  4. No jargon on purpose. Explain things like you're talking to a smart person who hasn't done this before. Because you are.
